Frequency Modification

NOTE:
Exercise a great deal of care with this mod especially with cutting the trace as specified!
Due to the placement, size, and close proximity of the surrounding traces.
If done wrong you could destroy the PCB and / or the PLL chip.

If you have even the slightest doubts or the proper equipment , it would be wise to have someone else you trust perform the mod for you.

SO TAKE YOUR TIME AND DOUBLE CHECK YOUR WORK!!!!

The Ranger 8719 does not use internal pull-up resistors which means you will need to cut the traces of pin 10 and pin 11 then bridge the cut trace with 4.7k ohm resistors.

With pin 11 low - 26.815 to 26.955 on CH. 15 to 27
With pin 11 high - 27.425 to 27.445 on CH. 12 to 14
With pins 10 & 11 low - 27.455 to 27.595 on CH. 15 to 27
With pin 10 low - 27.605 - 28.045 on CH. 1 to 40

NOTE:
Cutting and bridging the trace to pin 16 with a 4.7k ohm resistor will give you all the "alpha" channels and most of the skipped channels in the frequency range shown above.
