Remove the covers from the unit and locate the circuit board pads behind the front panel as shown above. |

2.

Carefully solder two 104 (.1uf) capacitors across the pads making sure Not to short any other pins on the board. Use a small, Very low temperature, soldering iron to complete the job. |

3.

Re-assemble the unit and disconnect all power to the unit to re-set the CPU memory. The radio should now operate on all bands by rotating the channell selector through 40 channels. The display will indicate which band is in use. (A - E) |
NOTE: The bands are indicated by a small symbol (A through E) in the display window.
