DX1600V Remote Head

An optional accessory remote switch box plugs into the back of the DX1600V is usefull when the unit is mounted out of reach. It has the following controls and indicators.

Power ON / OFF
Delay ON / OFF
Two LED indicators.

 

Before plugging in the remote control to the DX1600V you will need to do the following steps.

1.
Remove the top case screws (3) on each side.
2.
Push in the (4) push button switches then carefully lift the rear of lid up approx 3/4", then slide the top towards the rear until the push button switches clear the front panel.
(Use caution not to damage the switches then lay cover upside down on the right hand side)

The internal rocker switch on driver board is set to on which is the fan position by default. This makes the 1/4" fan jack operate the optional external fans.
Switching this rocker switch to off "0" enables 1/4" fan jack for optional remote control head.
See picture below.

Replace cover carefully making sure wire harness is in between fan rocker swirch and chassis. Then over hang the rear of the lid until push button clear front panel.
Slide the lid forward while guiding push buttons through the front panel opening.
Replace screws.

Mount remote head and connect to power source.
Before plugging in the remote head to the DX1600V, push the "POWER" button to the "ON" position and set the "DRIVER" and/or "FINALS" button(s) along with the power level knob to the output level you want to operate at. If you push the "REC AMP" button, it will only operate when the remote "ON/OFF" switch is set to "ON".
